Be a helping hand – point them in the direction of more information!
Choose interesting images – brighten up a long page of text with lovely images!
Don’t worry – so 100 people haven’t read your blog straight away, it takes time!
Explain terms – a lot of us use terms that our customers might not understand!
Focus – make sure your key marketing messages are present!
Give – customers love a freebie!
Honesty – be upfront, honest and open!
I – I don’t always enjoy writing and that’s ok…don’t force it!
Journey – create a story and your customers will travel with you!
Keep short – blogs should be around 300 – 2,000 words at the VERY maximum!
Learn – research what your customers are reading and why!
Mention – boost your recommended suppliers!
Never forget links – links to your website, social media, other blogs!
Observe – go back and look at what has or hasn’t worked!
Plan – preplan your content and schedule this in advance!
Questions – use your blog to answer a common question of your customers!
Remember – not everyone is a natural writer, that’s what I’m here for!
Show experience – use your experience to write a ‘How To’ piece!
Think – what does your client want, need, seek!
Utilise other blogs – check out the competition and see what you like and don’t like!
Voice – write your blogs in the same voice you would use to speak to them!
Work with others – to get your content shared!
